Nude
During my studies at the Sorbonne in 2000, I created the self-portrait series Captive Insaisissable (Elusively Captive). At first, I aimed to capture fleeting light effects in the dark, experimenting with analog photography, and sometimes fragments of my body appeared in the developed images.
Gradually, the roles shifted, and a dialogue between photographer and model in one person emerged. The series became not only my final project but also the heart of my work, which continues to evolve and grow. While I explore other photographic subjects, this intimate series remains my most important creative focus.
Moods, journeys, daylight, encounters with people, the sea, a night danced through… all of this is reflected in my photographs and forms the pages of my visual diary.
The essence of my work: to present the body as an aesthetic, formal, and emotional element, not as a spectacle. My photographs are not erotic, arising as a quiet, intimate exploration of presence within the body. The body is a space of experience, light as language, intimacy for perception. Photography allows me to create a second self – a visual avatar mediating a dialogue between who I am and who I can become. The series is a living process, continuously evolving.
Do you like photos and would you like them at home?
